Old, as in within the last decade. I’ve been re-watching Firefly, catching episodes I either missed or don’t remember. It is interesting to watch it with the Steampunk filter. I catch details I missed before. Also on deck has been Earth 2. Interestingly, it is another throwback to the American old west. A small group of people leave Earth to inhabit a new planet. They crash land and make a pilgrimmage to their original location. It comes across a lot like the Oregan Trail. Another smart series. Finally, I’ve been watching Threshold. Alien invasion. I missed it completely when it was first on. I can see why it wasn’t a huge hit - heavy on the science. But if you can keep up with the conversation, it is fascinating.

    Hey!
Just added your blog to my google reader and saw this post . I’m excited because you gave me some ideas on some Sci-fi to watch. I’ve been craving something that I haven’t seen and these are all new to me (except Firefly). Thanks my friend!

Miss you lots, drop me a note sometime so we can chat.

Yes, Firefly was Joss Whedon. Lots of fun.

I still need to figure out why my comments aren’t displaying! Grrr.

    Hey Karm,

I see that your comment and mine have posted, but I can’t see either when I click on the “2 comments” link. It just brings me here, to the post itself and the field to enter a new comment. So I don’t know what your response was to my comment.

I just saw at the top of the box that it says that comments are closed. Is that why?
