I’ve been slowly weeding out my bookcases, giving away the books I no longer plan to read/re-read on bookmooch. I’ve basically been pulling the book off the shelf, staring at it, thinking “will I ever read this” and “is it a duplicate,” and then listening to my instincts. Apparently I could have been using a more scientific method. Since I have several more bookcases to sort through, perhaps I’ll give this method a shot. On the other hand, it seems too much like a math problem, so I doubt it.
